Emergency Visit

We realize that sometimes not all initial visits to Children’s Dentistry of Maine may be planned. The unforeseen sometimes happens. If your kiddo takes a faceplant when they are becoming mobile, or if they get a toothache while you are on vacation or recently moved to the area, we happily accept emergencies by appointment. 

At this visit, Dr. S and another member of the team will focus on the area of your child’s need and may obtain photos and x-rays.  This need will be addressed in one of the following manners:

1. Medical management

2. Same-day treatment

3. Outside referral

Dr. S will determine the most appropriate option for your child based on the nature of the emergency.
